Rose Cottage filmed for ITV...watch this space!!

Recently we were asked to contribute some of the finishing touches for Rose Cottage, an interior project worked on by Sian at Moregeous www.moregeous.com/wordpress
The cottage was being filmed for a ITV show called 'May the Best House Win' which is due for broadcast in Spring 2011. It's along the idea of Come Dine With Me but for houses.
To suit the look of the cottage we opted for English summer flowers such as Hydrangea, Phlox, Campanula in containers supplied by Sian to compliment the cottage's interior.

We think the interior looks great so fingers crossed for Sian at Moregeous!!!
We will post the results once we know them!!!

Nikki and Rich's hot pink wild wedding

On 26th June 2010 it was a pleaseure to do the flowers for NIkki's and Rich's wedding from The White Closet bridal boutique, Burton Rd Didsbury.
The look of the wedding was dramatic, wild and vibrant.
Nikki's bouquet had pale pink peonies, hot pink roses, trailing green amaranthus, trailing gloriosa and a variety of ferns and foliages to emphasise the long, flowing look to the bouquet.

Rich had a buttonhole of Gloriosa with a small detail of hydrangea to compliment Nikki's bouquet.

Rich's best man and ushers had a simple buttonhole of hot pink rose with foliages.

At the entrance to St Cross Church, Mobberley Rd, Knutsford we used two bay trees interspersed with gloriosa to welcome guests.

Inside the church we dressed two large candleabra with lots of foliages and dramatic flowers.

Knowsley Hall Wedding

On Saturday 8th May we did Saif and Christine's wedding at Knowsley Hall. It was a gorgeous sunny day and everybody was in good spirits.

To greet the guests there was a red carpet finished off with 2 bay trees with white roses interspersed in them.

On either side of the registrars table there were floor standing candleabra decorated with a chunky collar of white and green flowers including roses, stocks, phlox, lilies, peonies and hanging amaranthus to name a few.

The aisle was lines with perspex plinths with flower heads threaded on to wire with white and green arrangements on the top complete with a chunky pillar candle. It looked gorgeous-very fairy tale.

The registrars table with floor standing candleabra on either side.

The dining room was brimming with flowers with candleabra table centres on each table, fireplace designs and arrangements on side tables.

Candleabra table centres with chunky collars of flowers around the arms and base of the design, linked with foliage. Here we have used a variety of white flowers including roses, stocks, phlox, peonies, lilies and lots of different foliage's to give a nice textured design.

The fireplaces were decorated with chunky garlands of flowers interspersed with candles.
I will update with photos of the bridal party very soon. Everybody had a fantastic day and it was fantastic to work with such a lovely couple. I wish them all the very best x

Shrigley Hall Wedding 4th April 2010

On Saturday 4th April we did the wedding flowers for the lovely Carina and Carl at Shrigley hall, Pott Shrigley, Cheshire. It was a fantastic afternoon with the sun shining on to the hall, it looked stunning.

For Carina's bouquet, she chose a hand tied design incorporating Schwartzwalder calla lilies, Akito roses, Lilac and white freesia, Deep purple and white tulips and Limonium finished with an aspidistra leaf secured with pearl pins.

For the top table design Carina didn't want anything too structured, we placed a combination of Eucalyptus and Soft ruscus with groupings of tulips along the top table.

To continue with the spring theme we used LSA goldfish bowls with deep purple and white tulips swirled inside with grass.

The wedding looked lovely and we will put the official photographs up when Carina and Carl return from their honeymoon.
