Shrigley Hall Wedding 4th April 2010

On Saturday 4th April we did the wedding flowers for the lovely Carina and Carl at Shrigley hall, Pott Shrigley, Cheshire. It was a fantastic afternoon with the sun shining on to the hall, it looked stunning.

For Carina's bouquet, she chose a hand tied design incorporating Schwartzwalder calla lilies, Akito roses, Lilac and white freesia, Deep purple and white tulips and Limonium finished with an aspidistra leaf secured with pearl pins.

For the top table design Carina didn't want anything too structured, we placed a combination of Eucalyptus and Soft ruscus with groupings of tulips along the top table.

To continue with the spring theme we used LSA goldfish bowls with deep purple and white tulips swirled inside with grass.

The wedding looked lovely and we will put the official photographs up when Carina and Carl return from their honeymoon.

Manchester Town Hall 27th March

We were lucky enough to do the wedding flowers for the lovely Kate and Rohit at Manchester Town Hall on Saturday 27th March, they were a lovely couple to work with.

Kate chose a beautiful compact, textured design of white flowers including white roses, white phlox, ranunculus, sweet peas, stocks and rosemary. The flowers smelt gorgeous!

For Rohit's buttonhole we incorporated a white rose with some rolled petals and a few pieces of phlox to compliment Kate's bouquet beautifully.

The cake flowers complimented the theme of the wedding with a simple white roses, phlox and rosemary design on the top tier of the cake.

In the Old Council Chamber where the wedding ceremony was held, they chose 2 floor standing candleabra, one for either side of the registrars table. These were then moved to either side of the top table for the wedding breakfast.

The table centres complimented the theme of white and brown beautifully with the cappuccino foliage rolled within the designs. The Great Hall at Manchester Town Hall worked really well with the tall candleabra, with such tall ceilings it looked beautiful.

The scent as you walked in to the room was fantastic, the stocks, phlox, maroussia roses all have heavy scents so they worked really well in such a large room.

We would like to wish Kate and Rohit all the best. we look forward to seeing the official pictures when they return from their honeymoon.
